Know About Your City: Bury is historically a part of Lancashire emerged during the Industrial Revolution as a mill town centered on textile manufacture now a town in Greater Manchester, England. It is located in the foothills of the western Pennines in North West England in the northern part of the Greater Manchester Urban Area.
